Son of Tim Turk Honoured!

Track stars. Brampton residents Jaydn Skeen-Knight, left and Jacob Turk of the Bullets Track Club received their trophies for 2011 performances at the annual Ontario Minor Track Association banquet Saturday January 21.
Two Brampton athletes were among those honoured as the Ontario Minor Track and Field Association handed out its awards to the top performers of 2011 from around the province.

Read below... Jacob Turk(right) was recently recognized as a top elite athlete in Ontario!
Jacob Turk received the award for the top senior boys thrower. The 14-year old had top results of 42.70m in the javelin, the second best ever for his age group in Ontario. He also tossed the discus 29m and the shot put more than 10m. Turk also participated in the long jump with a best jump of 5.55m and the 100m where he ran 12.6 seconds.
