Carry it, pass it, clear it or, better yet, put the puck in the net! PROshooters technique- driven approach to teaching the art of shooting, passing and puck control enables PROshooters players to better maintain possession of the puck, then release it with optimal power and accuracy.
Physical and mental preparedness are vital to success! By addressing both the physical and mental aspects of the game, PROshooters progressive training enables players to execute with total confidence, even under extreme pressure. . . no wonder goalies hate us!
Hockey is a game of options - know how, know what, know when! Player development requires both skills and knowledge. In addition to providing the ability to execute, PROshooters teaches situation-specific play options, so players can quickly make the right choice in any game situation.

Skills Coach to the Montreal Canadiens
and Tampa Bay Lightning
PROshooters Owner and Director of Player Development Tim Turk has worked with dozens of Canadian, American and International high-level hockey players, and those on their way. In the videos found here, former NHL defenseman Teppo Numminen demonstrates some of the PROshooters techniques used to enhance puck skills.
In addition to dozens of dedicated PROshooters students, Tim works with NHL and prospect level players as a skills development coach with the Montreal Canadiens, Tampa Bay Lightning and various elite leagues in Sweden.
PROshooters . . . Put the Puck in the Net!
Director of Recruitment and Player Development
Hesitation is a killer in today's fast-paced game and best overcome by a player's capacity to make quick, correct decisions combined with the skills necessary to execute.
As such, early development and on-going refinement of puck skills is crucial to success — including the obvious enhanced ability to stickhandle, pass and, most importantly, shoot the puck, as well as the not-so-obvious increased confidence required for rapid decision making.
Over the past 5 years the Montreal Canadiens organization has contracted Tim Turk of PROshooters to work with our NHL, AHL and drafted prospect players in enhancing their puck skills, focusing primarily on shooting techniques combined with the decision making process, i.e. type of shot to utilize in specific situations.
Tim's proven development system and his ability to communicate that system has earned him the respect of the entire Montreal Canadiens organization.
Starting with an evaluation session, we’ll develop a step-by-step program that addresses weaknesses, while building on strengths. Subsequent sessions will be devoted to teaching proper techniques for maximum power, pin-point accuracy and total puck control.
On-ice sessions are progressively tailored to suit player skill level, and focus on attaining “total puck confidence” — the ability to shoot, pass and control the puck with authority.
Bookings are available for teams, groups and individuals. PROshooters recommends players be 8 years old and have played at least one year of organized hockey.

"I'd like to take a moment to provide you with some feedback on just how effective your shooting instruction has been for my daughter, Alison. Over the past two years, your weekly personalized instruction and motivation have been a major factor in helping her advance from playing at the House League level to Midget AA girls hockey. She has always been a very strong skater, but really needed a lot of work on developing her shooting and puck handling skills.Your program of constant repetition of CORRECT techniques (10 point system), with the addition of progressively advanced elements, has helped Alison achieve greater confidence and accomplishment on the ice. She now has a hard, accurate shot, with quick release and better puck control skills. Thanks, Tim, for the great instruction."

Team skills and strategies development programs are designed to contribute to overall success as the hockey season progresses. Like individual player development, team development sharpens skills, while building confidence.
PROshooters respects the rights of students to enjoy themselves, but will insist that camp participants come prepared to listen, learn and work hard. Please arrive well rested, well fed, well hydrated and well intentioned.
Individual and small group player development sessions offer the highest level of learning potential. Based on an in depth evaluation, PROshooters will develop a player-specific program.
